Before getting into the blog and reading my pieces of advice, here’s a word of warning…A lot of audience members have watched professional motivational speakers at corporate meetings and hope to follow their lead. Which is a splendid aspiration for them, but not a lot help to somebody in the market for a speaker who is in reality a true “professional”! It’s important to take into account that, choosing the wrong  speaker (and, like I said, there are quite a few of those) can utterly stink up the remainder of your meeting. And, make no mistake, the stink sticks around!

Another quick tip: Is your prospective motivational speaker an exceptional customer service provider? If the speaker isn’t able “produce the goods” when it comes to customer service, it’s improbable he or she will inspire your staff to excellence. My recommendation, walk away…and find another motivational expert who can “walk the talk”.
